  • SEATTLE, Wash. — (July 10, 2008) —Over 600 people attended the 6th Annual Wine Country Celebration and Grand Gala on June 20-21, raising nearly $415,000 for Washington Wine Country, a non-profit organization that promotes wine-related tourism and rural revitalization in the vineyard region. This weekend of events included a concert by Grammy Award winning jazz vocalist Steve Tyrell, Winemaker Dinners in the Vineyards, and a Grand Gala Benefit Dinner and Auction at the DeAtley Estate in Yakima.

  • Washington Wine Country Funds City Revitalization Banner Campaign Spreads Far and Wide

    SEATTLE, Wash. — (February 7, 2008) —Washington Wine Country, a non-profit organization dedicated to wine-related tourism and economic development in Washington state’s wine country, announces three new grant recipients from their City Revitalization Fund. Now in its third year, the Fund awards grants to support Eastern Washington “wine town” revitalization projects that inject a wine country theme.   • Wine Country Celebration & Grand Gala a Smashing Success “Raise the Paddle” Generates $62,000 for Regional Partnership Fund

    YAKIMA, Wash. — (June 28, 2007) — Now in it’s fifth year, the Wine Country Celebration and Grand Gala was a weekend of success boasting over 560 attendees at six events and grossing $475K towards its mission-related programs, the largest amount raised to date.
