Maryhill’s annual Spring Release Weekend welcomes both warmer weather and vineyard guests as the winery reveals its new releases - 2008 Winemaker’s Red, 2007 Zinfandel, 2007 Proprietor’s Reserve Zinfandel, 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2008 Riesling, 2008 Muscat Canelli and 2006 Merlot Classic. One of Cave B Estate Winery’s largest annual events, the Fourth Annual Spring Wine Release Event is a true wine country experience. This public event will feature the release of Winemaker Freddy Arredondo’s newest vintages of red and white wines. Guests are invited to participate in any or all of the following activities: The day will kick-off with the “Stump the Chump” wine tasting challenge: participants are presented four to five disguised varietals and “challenged” to taste through each of the wines, and attempting to identify the varietals. Tendrils Executive Chef Joe Ritchie will share some tricks of the trade with a cooking demonstration, followed-by a four-course luncheon paired with newly-released Cave B Estate wines—all enjoyed to the sound of live music.

Two Mountain Winery's "Vineyard Crew" lets wine lovers and aspiring viticulturists unleash their inner farmers and learn what it takes to grow premium wine grapes in the heart of Yakima Valley. Led by Patrick Rawn with support from winemaker Matt Rawn, Vineyard Crew sessions focus on a range of seasonal topics from pruning to thinning, verasion to harvest. Crew members tend to assigned Vineyard Crew vines at four key growing periods during the year so they experience each of the grape growing cycle first hand. Each of the four, half-day sessions includes a finger-filthying enological experience followed by wine and appetizers in our Two Mountain cellar. Vineyard Crew members receive generous discounts of 15% off per bottle, 20% off per case, a cool member T-shirt, and of course, dirty hands and serious bragging rights.
